Zoo Med Turtle Bones

• Provides Calcium for all species of aquatic and terrestrial turtles and tortoises.
• Provides habitat enrichment and supplementary calcium on an “as needed” basis.
• Rough edible surface helps prevent overgrown beaks as well as curb unwanted chewing behavior.

Aquatic Turtles:
Remove one Turtle Bone per 1-2 turtles and place in water. The Turtle Bone will float and your turtles will eat as needed. Replace Turtle Bone if it begins to deteriorate before it is consumed.

Tortoises and Box Turtles: Place one Turtle Bone in a separate food dish and leave alone until consumed. Certain individuals will devour the Turtle Bone within a few days while others may take weeks. As long as your animal is eating its regular diet then it is normal behavior.
