Imperator Angelfish - Juvenile (aka Emperor Angelfish)
Also known as the Emperor Angelfish. The juvenile is distinct in color with a black body covered in a circular pattern of white and blue stripes originating from the tail. This coloration will change to include yellow and orange colors as it matures. There is no visible difference between males and female Imperator Angels. A tank with extensive hiding spots consisting of caves and overhangs as well as room to swim is highly recommended.
An omnivorous species, the Imperator Angel should be fed a variety of foods ranging from Marine Angel Preparations, to frozen daphnia and brine shrimp, to herbivore specific foods, and preparations with sponges and garlic. Flakes and pellets should be fed sparingly.
