Dwarf Gourami
As with all Gourams, the Dwarf Gourami must be allowed to breathe from the water's surface. The Dwarf Gourami has an overall iridescent glow to its body that is most prominent in males. The male tends to be a bright orange-red with turquoise blue vertical strips and the female tends to be a pale blue-gray with light yellow vertical stripes. The Dwarf Gourami does best in a well planted tank with peaceful fish. It is recommended that the tank is located in a quiet location and that frequent water changes are performed to ensure good health.
Feed a variety of food to ensure complete nutrition. This should include, but is not limited to, frozen brine shrimp, bloodworms, flake food, Spirulina enriched foods, Tubifex worms, herbivore preparations, and small live foods.
