Damselfish are colorful, hardy and active marine fish well suited for beginning marine aquarists. These close relatives of clownfish are one of the most familiar and recognizable marine fish. The Domino Damsel has three white spots on its black body which will fade with age. This particular species is also known to live symbiotically with carpet anemones from the Stichodactyla genus.
