Red Peacock Cichlid
The Red Peacock Cichlid is the result of years of breeding in order to achieve its spectacular coloration. The male of this species tends to be more colorful than the female and displays the egg spots typical of male peacocks on the anal fin. The Red Peacock Cichlid is not a species found in the wild. This species does well in a community tank with other peacocks and peaceful mid-sized fish and several hiding spots.
