Boesemani Rainbow
Rainbow fish are a long-established favorite among aquarists. The Boesemani Rainbow is popular because of its stunning coloration of deep blue-purple in the front of the body with orange and yellow colors near the back while being an extremely active fish. This makes it a great centerpiece of a fish for any community tank.
A well planted tank with plenty of horizontal swimming space is recommended. As with other Rainbow fish, the Boesemani Rainbow does best in a school rather than individually. Dark gravel and subdued lighting may help the coloration of the fish appear more vibrant. The fish will lose coloration with bad water quality as well.
