From a nutrition and acceptance standpoint, black oil sunflower seed is your best choice. In addition, if you want to have no shell debris, you may want to use hulled-sunflower seeds for this feeder.Feeder Care
This feeder should be cleaned every two weeks to remove accumulated debris and maintain a healthy feeding location for wild birds. A mild soap and water solution is recommended. Do not use solvent or abrasive cleaners as these will damage the finish.
