Feeding Guidelines
Note: The following feeding guidelines are for dogs with moderate activity levels. These guidelines should be adjusted as needed to maintain optimum weight.
Suggested Amounts to Feed Per Day
5 - 15 lb. dog: 3/4 - 1 1/2 cups
16 - 25 lb. dog: 1 1/2 - 2 1/4 cups
26 - 35 lb. dog: 2 1/4 - 2 3/4 cups
36 - 55 lb. dog: 2 3/4 - 3 2/3 cups
56 - 75+ lb. dog: 3 2/3 - 4 1/2+ cups
*Use standard 8 oz. measuring cup. Serve dry or moistened.
Pregnant Bitches: Offer 50% more during pregnancy.
Lactating Bitches: Offer two to three times the normal amount of food.
Puppies: Feed twice the normal adult requirement. Feed puppies three times a day until six months of age, then twice daily until 14 months, depending upon the breed.
All Dogs: Keep fresh drinking water available at all times. See your veterinarian regularly.
