If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, we will make it right by offering you a solution that meets your needs, within the terms of our Return Policy. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to one of our Petco store locations. Items purchased in-store can be returned with receipt within 60 days for a full refund in the original form of tender. Returns without a receipt with a valid identification or after 60 days are eligible for a merchandise credit equal to the lowest price at which the returned products were sold, excluding: grooming tools; filters or pumps; pet medication or vitamins; and pest control treatments.
Exclusions: Live Animal & Services
We have a 30-day guarantee on Live Companion Animals and 30-day guarantee on Freshwater Fish. We do not guarantee our Marine Life purchased in store.
All Live Betta fish purchased online are guaranteed to stay alive for 30 days from the day it arrives at your home or we will gladly refund your money.

Our return policy is simple. For your convenience, you can return merchandise to a Petco store or to one of our petco.com warehouses.
Your local Petco store will gladly accept returns of merchandise purchased through petco.com within 60 days of the initial shipment date.
Before returning merchandise to a Petco store, print a "Returns to Store Receipt." (Please note that the packing slip that came with your shipment(s) cannot be used for a return to a Petco store, as it does not contain pricing information.)
The "Returns to Store Receipt" may also be accessed by visiting petco.com/storereceipt. Please have your order information available as you will be prompted to enter your order number, the Billing Address last name, and the Shipping Address ZIP Code.
You can also pull up your order confirmation on a mobile device in order to provide the store with your order details.
No shipping charges will be refunded at the store. Please email us or call toll free 1-877-738-6742 to obtain applicable shipping credit.
Exchanges can be made at any Petco store location. If exchanging for a different item, you will receive credit for the amount paid as listed on your "Returns to Store Receipt." If you received an incorrect item from petco.com, you must return the item to the petco.com warehouse for proper credit. Personalized products cannot be returned to a Petco store.
For returns made after 60 days, you will be issued a merchandise credit for the paid price or allowed to exchange the product for something else.
If you do not have a receipt, you will be issued a merchandise credit for the listed store price or allowed to exchange the product for something else.
