Application for Support

If you have previously applied for and received support through our on line interface within the past year, you will need to file the requisite follow up form prior to applying again.

To apply for any type of Petco Foundation support, you will need the following:

  1. Organization office name and address.
  2. An email where you can be reached (* See Below)
  3. The geographic area where the funding will be applied
  4. If you are not currently a Charitable Partner (have never received funds from Petco Foundation)
    • Completed and signed copy of the IRS W-9 Form
    • Copy of 501(c)(3) tax determination letter or Government or Municipal Agency Form (blank document available from within the Application site)
    • Organization Form 990

If you have not previously applied to the Petco Foundation through our online grant site, you will need to create a new account when accessing the link below. Once an account has been set up for your organization, you will see a listing of the grant opportunities currently offered. It is helpful to save the "Log-In" page as a "Favorite" on your computer for easy access and to check the status of your application. You will be notified via email of our decision.

As our application process has changed, please carefully read the applicable Grant Application Instructions prior to completing an application. Completion of our application accurately and in accordance with the applicable Grant Application Instructions is required to be considered for funding. This document was created in order to help you more easily complete the application process. We recommend that you print the applicable Grant Application Instructions and read the information prior to and alongside the answering of the questions on your application.
