The sixth annual PETCO Foundation Thanks "Fore" Giving Fall Fundraiser is Monday, November 2, 2009. The fundraiser will be returning to the beautiful Rancho Bernardo Inn. We’ve added the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo’s 18 hole course in order to offer even more golf opportunities this year to meet demand. For those who do not wish to golf, we are offering an exclusive and unprecedented wine and culinary experience at El Bizcocho, RBI’s reward winning restaurant!

GOLF TOURNAMENT
There are two full courses of golf available this year, Rancho Bernardo Inn and The Country Club of Rancho Bernardo! The Rancho Bernardo Inn course has hosted both PGA and LPGA events and is a sought after course in San Diego. Additionally, the adjacent Country Club of Rancho Bernardo is an exclusive, members-only course, but is open special to the PETCO Foundation for this tournament. Both courses will have special drink and snack stations as well as complimentary refreshment carts for all players. The morning will begin with a breakfast along with closest to the pin and longest drive competitions.
WINE & CULINARY EXCELLENCE
Delight in a wine lover’s ultimate indulgence, an interactive taste extravaganza as a special guest of the head chef of El Bizcocho, San Diego’s premier 5 star restaurant. You will enjoy a three course lunch prepared by the head chef himself with sommelier selected wines paired to complement each flavor on your plate.
After lunch, you are invited to partake in an interactive wine tasting activity and competition led by the head sommelier. The afternoon is an unprecedented opportunity for wine and fine food lovers to relax and revel in the luxurious atmosphere of El Bizcocho while sampling new and exclusive wines, and enjoying a private educational experience with the nationally recognized head chef and head sommelier.
HOSTED RECEPTION AND DINNER
Immediately following the daytime activities will be a hosted reception with time to mingle and enter to win premium opportunity drawing prizes. The reception will lead into a sumptuous three course dinner and presentation along with awards ceremony in the magnificent Aragon Ballroom.
