OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Petco’s Think Adoption First present the "Adoption Success Stories"

Petco’s Think Adoption First presents the "Adoption Success Stories" submission begins at 6 am PST on January 28, 2012. The Stories is sponsored by Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc. and will be hosted by Bazaarvoice, Inc. and Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc. 9125 Rehco Road, San Diego, CA 92121.

Entry Rules & Regulations

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Entrants must be legal residents of the U.S. who are 18 years of age or older as of January 28, 2012.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Pet Parents: Do you have an adoption story you would like to share with the Petco Community? Tell us your story about your adoption process and it will be featured on our Think Adoption First’s Adoption Success Stories page. Submit your pet's story with a photo (required) and upload a video (optional). To enter, visit www.petco.com/tafadoption. Choose the category you would like to enter and you will be able to upload your photo with your story and video. Categories will be: Customer Adoptions, Adoption Groups or Petco Store Adoptions. Once you have filled out the submission form you will be able to preview your entry before entering. Once you have entered, you will be able to view your entry, as well as other entries, as there is no end date.
3. The entry page can be found at www.petco.com/tafadoption. To upload a photo or video, you must have an online account with petco.com or you must register for an account. Photos and videos are posted on the Virtual Wall page and can be viewed by the petco.com community. To be eligible for the Adoption Success Stories, your submission must include the following:
   • A photo(s) of your pet (required) and video (optional) in which the pet(s) are the focus and the subject of the photo or video. File format for photos must be JPEG.
   • No choke or pinch collars
   • Only one entry per person
4. CONTACT: By submitting your story, you will be contacted, via email by Petco, only as they relate to the Adoption Success Stories.
5. PET PHOTOS OR VIDEOS: Photos or videos must be your original work and you must have full ownership rights. Photos or videos become the property of Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc. (referenced herein as "Petco," which will have the right, without further consideration, to modify and/or use them in its catalog, web site and in any other publication for promotional purposes.) By entering, you agree to Petco's use of your pet's name and likeness for promotional purposes in its TV, radio, web site and any other publication for promotional purposes.
6. PARTICIPATION: To participate, you must (i) be a legal resident of the United States, including the District of Columbia, (ii) be at least 18 years as of January 28, 2012; (iii) and must follow the instructions to register as a participant and complete and submit an entry as specified. Only one entry per person. Participants submitting multiple entries or violating any of these Official Rules and Regulations may be disqualified. Photos and videos become the property of Petco Animal Supplies Stores Inc., which will have the right, without further consideration, to modify and/or use them in its catalog, web site and in any other publication for promotional purposes. Petco will notify the original owner of the photo or video by the contact information that was provided during the time of entry.
7. All entries submitted become the property of petco.com and will not be returned. Neither Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc., Bazaarvoice, Inc., nor any of its agents, employees, parents, affiliates or subsidiaries are responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, for hardware or software or any telephone, electronic, network or computer malfunctions, failures, errors or data inaccuracies. In the event the Adoption Success Stories page becomes technically corrupt in any way, electronically or otherwise, sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the page.
8. Entrants, by participating, you agree to waive any and all claims of liability against Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc., Bazaarvoice, Inc. and their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies and agencies, representatives and employees from any accident, loss or injury occurring from this promotion or the use or misuse thereof.
9. Entrants must agree in writing to the use of their names, addresses (city, state), photographs or videos and likeness for purposes of advertising, trade and promoting in any and all media on behalf of Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc., without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Petco will notify the original owner of the photo or video by the contact information that was provided during the time of entry.
