Wahl Animal Trimmer Replacement Blade Set

Fine replacement blade set for 9861 and 9961 Series Wahl Compact Animal Trimmers.

Installation Instructions

1. Remove the old blade set by removing the two screws.
2. Clean excess hair from open end of trimmer with a small brush.
3. Position cam follower with the flat side up into top blade holes.
4. Align each spring hook with the slots in the front on each side of the cam follower. Then push the top blade and cam follower assembly back from the heel area of the top blade and hold it back. Make sure that the spring hooks stay inside the shallow slots of the can follower in the front.
5. While holding top blade down, position bottom blade over top blade aligning screw holes.
6. Holding the blade set in place, replace the screws and tighten.
7. Turn the trimmer on to check for proper back and forth blade motion.
8. If the blades do not operate properly, loosen screw and slightly lift blade set to check alignment, as discussed in step 4.
9. Tighten screws and try again.
