Training is fast and easy. An exposed ring of water surrounds the control ball of the water bottle at all times. When thirsty, your dog will be attracted by the smell of the exposed water at the tube control tip. Instinctively, they will nuzzle and lick the tube control ball and start drinking.
Due to the wide mouth design, when it's warm you can add ice cubes for a quick "cool down" on hot days.
Water bottles work on a vacuum lock. When bottle is filled and first inverted, press the control ball and let water trickle out until a vacuum develops before placing bottle in holder. Occasional dripping due to temperature caused expansion of the bottle is normal.Easy installation: Attach spring clips either to vertical or horizontal cage wire. Make sure spring rests beneath the spring catch when securing bottle to cage. Simply lift spring over the catch to remove bottle for filling. Always tighten cap securely.
Always fill the bottle completely full and tighten cap securely. Minor slow drips may continue until the water warms up to the surrounding air temperature. Thereafter, internal air expansion on temperature increase may cause an occasional drip. This is a normal function.
Wide mouth bottle design allows ice cubes to be inserted on hot days. This may cause minor dripping because of the difference between the inside water temperature and the outside air temperature.
Important: Always test your bottle before leaving your pet alone. It is recommended that your pet's water be checked and changed daily. When mounted to carriers while traveling bottle may drip more than normal.
