Captive Bred Reidi Seahorse
The Brazilian Reidi Seahorse is captive bred and raised. Captive bred seahorses are hardier than wild caught seahorses. This particular seahorse is available in yellow. Using their tail, seahorses can grasp on and hold onto branches and other tank décor. This seahorse does best in a species only tank as a mated pair or in a small group.
Frozen mysis shrimp should be the majority of its diet. Frozen brine shrimp may be fed as supplemental food. As they are very slow eaters that do not chase their food, it is best to feed Seahorses in small multiple daily feedings.
