We are often asked if the chicken meal is "human grade" ... technically there is no such thing as "human grade" chicken meal because it is only used in pet food. Our chicken meal is derived from human grade chicken meat. Omega 3 and Omega 6 Fatty Acids contribute to a healthy skin and coat. Bringing home your new puppy is exciting but also stressful for your new best friend. To avoid more stress, make gradual changes to his or her diet. Start with a small amount of Organix Puppy Formula in place of your puppy's current food. Over the next week to 10 days increase the amount of Organix while decreasing the amount of his other food until your puppy has 100% Organix Puppy Formula in his bowl. Feed your puppy an amount that will provide steady, optimal growth without becoming overweight. This food intake will vary depending on age, activity level, environment and other stress factors. Please adjust your puppy's feeding amount using the chart below as a guide. Puppies benefit from a consistent feeding time of day and diet, for example, three small meals a day or two larger meals split between the morning and evening. To serve moistened, add one-third part warm water to two-thirds parts Organix Puppy Formula. To maintain freshness, do not serve more than what your puppy will consume in a thirty minute period. Remember to provide plenty of fresh water in a clean container at all times. Regular visits to your veterinarian and exercise are strongly recommended to help ensure your puppy's good health.
