To register with PETCO.com:
- Click on "New User" at the top of any page.
- Enter the required information: first name, last name, email address and a password.
- Customize Your Account by providing your Pet Profile information.
- Click "Continue" to create Your Account and begin shopping.
Setting up Your Account is required to place a PETCO.com order.
To sign in to Your Account:
- Click on "Your Account" at the top of any page.
- Enter your email address and password. Passwords are case sensitive.
- Click "Continue."
If you forget your password, click on "Forgot your password?" and enter your email address. We will display a Password Reminder to you (if you set one up). If you still cannot remember your password, you may request to have your password emailed to the email address associated with Your Account. Sorry, for your security, we are unable to provide a password to you over the phone.
You can save multiple payment methods in Your Account and designate a Primary Payment Method. Up to three payment methods are displayed on the Your Account page. To view all saved payment methods, click "View All Addresses."
To select a default payment method for your orders, click the "Use this as my Primary Payment Method" radio button below the payment method you wish to designate. The radio buttons under each address also allow you to choose the payment method for your Bottomless Bowl & More orders.
To save a new credit card:
- Click "Enter a new Payment Method" and select the Credit Card option.
- To modify a credit card, click "Change." Up to three payment methods are displayed on the Your Account page. To view all, click "View all Payment Methods."
- Enter the correct information and click "Save Payment Method."
Bill Me Later is a service that allows you to place an order, receive the merchandise and be billed at a later date. To use Bill Me Later:
- Click "Enter a new Payment Method" and select the Bill Me Later option.
- To modify your Bill Me Later information, click "Change." Up to three payment methods are displayed on the Your Account page. To view all, click "View all Payment Methods."
- Provide the requested information to verify credit and click "Save Payment Method."
- If your information and credit are verified, you will receive authorization to use the Bill Me Later service and an account will be automatically set up for you on PETCO.com.
- Once your Bill Me Later account is set up, you may use this payment option for subsequent orders without reentering information.
- You will receive an invoice from Bill Me Later, not PETCO.com, to be paid upon receipt and upon terms, conditions and deadlines of the Bill Me Later Service.
PayPal is a global online payment system that conveniently and securely allows you to pay for your PETCO.com order. PayPal is an account-based system that allows anyone with an email address to securely send and receive online payments.
To use PayPal:
- Click "Enter a new Payment Method" and select the PayPal option.
- To modify your PayPal information, click "Change." Up to three payment methods are displayed on the Your Account page. To view all, click "View all Payment Methods."
- Upon clicking the Place Order button, you will be directed to PayPal's web site to update your account information. If you have multiple Shopping Carts, you may need to do this separately for each Bottomless Bowl and regular order. After successfully completing the process, you will return to the PETCO.com order confirmation screen.
- PayPal will verify your information and the amount of your purchase will be automatically deducted from your funding source.
- If you choose to pay for your Bottomless Bowl using PayPal, you will need to set up a PETCO.com Billing Agreement, which authorizes PETCO.com to bill a monthly amount to your PayPal account. If you add items or increase the Delivery Frequency of your Bottomless Bowl, you will be sent to PayPal's web site to modify your Billing Agreement.
As of 11/16/09, we will no longer accept TeleCheck for payment online. If you have used TeleCheck previously, we ask that you please select another form of payment during the Checkout process to complete your order.
To remove a payment method, click "Remove."
